It is only summer, but toys are already battling to be the best toys for the 2013 Christmas Season. Christmas is still miles away, but children are already thinking about which toys they want for Christmas. It seems every year there are a handful of toys that children just have to have. We have followed the trends all year long. When thinking about what toys to get your kids, you have to choose toys that will grow and evolve with them.  The best toys have to be able to offer longevity. Some toys open up a new world by featuring an online component. Here are the toys that children will be asking Santa Clause for later this year.

Last year one of the biggest toys was Dance Star Mickey. This was a dancing Mickey toy that could perform a variety of dances including a slick moonwalk. A very hot toy among girls were the Fijit Friends. These were dancing robots that girls could talk to. For toddlers there was Sesame Street's Lets Rock Elmo. He assembled his own band and could not only sing but he could also play instruments. Every year LEGOs manage to top the charts.

Everybody wants to know what the most popular toys are going to be this year. Usually, toys which feature technology manage to capture the top spots on the charts. This year we have both traditional toys and new toys. One thing is for sure, Spiderman, Batman, tablets, and Furby are going to all be battling for the top spot.

People are either going to absolutely love or hate the new Furby. If you want a quiet peaceful house, Furby is going to destroy your world. You are going to have to try to do everything to silence him because he never goes off. He is like a child that will never shut up. Don't throw him around or mistreat him or he may plot against the world. The new Furby has enough technology in him to mimic the personality of the child that is taking care of him. The previous Furby sold 40 million units in 1998. It's been now updated to include LED eyes which now show more emotion. The toy can react when you tickle or feed him. Every toy is supposed to have its own personality. It depends how children play with it. There is also an app that children can download that allows children to feed the toy virtually. The app also allows children to speak to the Furby with a Furbish to English dictionary.

Superhero toys are also going to be popular for Christmas including Batman and Spiderman. There is a new Cinderella doll just in time for her diamond Birthday. Children's tablets are also expected to do well with new versions of the InnoTab and LeapPad. Technology is really becoming a huge part of the toy world. All these toys are expected to be in huge demand for Christmas. The battle for the top spot is going to continue through the entire holiday season.
