Christmas is just around the corner. Here are some of the toys that should be on your best toys 2013 lists. Some of these toys are updates from last year’s toys but there are also new additions.

The VTech InnoTab is getting an update this year. Children are being brought in a world filled with technology. More and more children are using an iPad or iPhone before they have even used a computer. It has become a part of everyday life. It has become normal to kids. It's no surprise that kids want to use the same thing that their parents are using. The VTech InnoTab offers just that. It's a quality product with a great library of educational games. Kids even have the opportunity to personalize their tablets. Mum and dad can finally take the iPad back. It will make both parents and kids happy. One thing that we like is that even if you drop the Leappad 2 from a high height it does not break. It is a great feature for a 4 or 5 year old who loves bashing and throwing their toys around. Kids love to copy whatever their parents are doing. Kids already know how to use the iPhone to call people and play games. It's better to get them a toy instead of letting them use the real thing. Kids love to mimic what their parents are doing. We think the Leappad 2 is great for development. They are learning by playing.

Even though the Minnie Mouse Van looks like a toy, children do learn by playing with it. This toy features traditional role play. Kids can take Minnie on their own adventures. It's purely up to their imaginations. Minnie Mouse is a very nurturing figure. It is obvious that she cares about her animal friends. All of characters help one another. Children who are younger are going to get lost in their own imaginary world. It's all about making up stories. This toy shows that you don't need technology to have fun. It's just good old fashioned traditional role play.

With Spiderman and Batman hitting the theaters, it is no surprise that Superheroes are going to be popular this year. With all the summer movies, it is the year of the Superheroes. One of the toys that made is hot is Web Shooting Spiderman. He actually shoots out webs. We know that children love to pretend that they are superheroes so we think this toy is great for children. Superheroes help children learn about good vs evil. We not only have Spiderman, but we also have another Superhero - Batman. This year Batman toys are controversial because of the shooting at an America Theater in Colorado but the toys should still be popular. The Bat Vehicle allows Batman to be ejected out of the vehicle and propelled 10 feet into the air.  Children are going love pretending to be these superheroes.

All girls love Cinderella. She is back and still looking for her slipper. Cinderella is celebrating her birthday. At first glance, the doll looks like an ordinary doll. With the magical press of a button, her dress lights up with glitter and light, making her even more beautiful. We love how it magically transforms.
